Through the Tool Time program, we found that some repairs require a higher level of time, expertise or licensing to complete a project.  With the Vital Home Repairs (VHR), we are able to utilize community grant programs to offer financial assistance up to $500 to help with items like roofing and moderate home repairs, handicap accessible ramps and other projects that may require a permit from a licensed contractor.  We also partner with our local Habitat for Humanity, NEMCSA, and the Otsego County Housing Commission for larger home repair program funding and assistance.  For more information, call RSVP at 989.732.6232.
